Julie Yeeun Kim is a singer, songwriter, and worship leader. She recently released a new single, Lost in You, which is now available on all music platforms. In 2019, she was an arts fellow at Define American, and through the duration of the fellowship she explored the intersections of faith, community, and politics, particularly politics surrounding issues of race and immigration. In 2018 Julie collaborated with jazz musician John Daversa’s Big Band in the album “American Dreamers,” which won three Grammy awards in 2019, including the category for “Best Large Jazz Ensemble.”

Besides singing, Julie is a regular voice actor on Little Tooni, a Korean Youtube series for children. (Can you guess which animals she voices in this episode?)

In addition to her music, Julie is a lecturer in the Asian and Asian American Studies Department at CSU, Long Beach. She is simultaneously completing a second MA in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.
